Grace Sams : Founder and CEO
Grace Sams, Founder and CEO of Sams Tutoring LLC, is a dedicated educator with over six years of online tutoring experience. Holding a Master’s in Human Nutrition, she specializes in English Language Arts and Math for pre-K through 8th grade, offering tailored support for students, including those with special needs like autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. Grace’s empathetic, positive approach fosters confidence and academic success, empowering students to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Wayne C. Steely
Wayne C. Steely, an award-winning Spanish Tutor, is a Ph.D. graduate in Spanish from the University of Connecticut, brings over 40 years of teaching experience to Sam’s Tutoring. Having taught high school and college-level students, Wayne specializes in Spanish language instruction, blending his deep linguistic expertise with rich cultural insights. His teaching philosophy emphasizes building students’ confidence in speaking and writing fluently, while keeping lessons rigorous yet enjoyable. A retired educator with a lifelong passion for teaching, Wayne also enjoys cooking, traveling, and furniture refinishing. His dedication to helping students succeed makes him a valued member of the team.
Justin McGeary
Justin McGeary, an accomplished tutor with a B.A. in English and a Master’s in Theology, brings over six years of college-level teaching experience and two years of tutoring expertise to Sam’s Tutoring. With a strong background in English, history, and social studies, Justin is passionate about guiding high school and college-level students to reach their academic potential. Based in South Dakota, Justin enjoys engaging students through a Socratic teaching style, fostering critical thinking and curiosity. Outside of tutoring, he loves spending time with his family, hiking, traveling, and playing basketball and soccer. Justin’s dedication to inspiring lifelong learning makes him an excellent addition to Sams Tutoring.
Shelia Mosley
Shelia Mosley, a seasoned educator with 18 years of tutoring experience, holds a Double Masters in literacy 6-12 and criminal justice, BA in English Language and Literature. Based in Orlando, Florida, she is certified in Reading, TEFL, and ESOL, and has a passion for teaching students from Pre K to 12th grade. Specializing in English, literature, math, and test preparation, Shelia’s student-centered approach ensures every academic goal is met creatively and effectively. Outside of teaching, she enjoys roller skating, exploring art galleries, visiting museums, and traveling to experience exotic foods and cultures. Shelia’s dedication to creating safe, fun, and productive learning environments makes her an exceptional part of the Sam's Tutoring Online team.
Sydney Gattis
Sydney Gattis, an Arkansas-based educator, masters in mathematics education, brings a wealth of experience and passion to her tutoring. With a license to teach K-8 subjects, Sydney specializes in math for grades 4-8, where her enthusiasm truly shines. When she's not teaching, Sydney enjoys traveling with her family, exploring new destinations, and diving into her favorite books - she reads an impressive 90-100 books each year! Known for her approachable and engaging teaching style, Sydney is committed to building strong connections with her students and tailoring her lessons to their unique learning needs. Sydney's absolute dedication to fostering both academic success and life skills makes her an invaluable part of our team.
